How does heading footballs affect the brain?

Available for over a year

The conversation around the impact heading footballs has on the brain has shifted in recent weeks with the news that Scottish professionals have been banned from heading in the day before and after matches. A trial will also see youth players banned from heading altogether over fears of the impact it could have on developing brains. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Alex Meakin has been to The University of Reading to see Dr Mark Dallas, associate professor in cellular neuroscience, who ran some tests on him.
