The singer who lives Christmas all year round

The Arts Hour

Available for over a year

Elizabeth Chan writes and records only Christmas tunes (12 albums so far!). From January through to June she writes her music, then records during the summer time. She finds it hard to write Christmas music during Christmas time and believes the best Christmas songs are written in retrospect. Prior to singing, she worked in marketing - but always knew she had something different she wanted to give the world, to pursue Christmas music, but didn't know how. Cut to now and Elizabeth even has her office festively decorated year round and says people think she's "like Santa Claus, I'm around and then after Christmas I'm gone... I go back to my Christmas workshop and I write Christmas music for the next year." (Photo: Elizabeth Chan. Credit: Cherry Bright Music Group)
