The UK's first satellite mission launched from Newquay but ended in failure. The Boeing 747, named Cosmic Girl, took off horizontally from the new facility while carrying the rocket. Matt Archer is the Commercial space director at the UK space agency, and it turns out he went to school right here in Coventry. He spoke to Phil Upton about the mission and studying at Bablake school.
