Braunstone Leisure Centre has reopened its doors to visitors after seeing a major refurbishment. The gym has been transformed as part of a £4.7 million investment programme which has also seen improvements at Cossington Street Sports Centre, Evington Leisure Centre, Spence Street Sports Centre and two phases of work at Aylestone Leisure Centre. The revamp at Braunstone includes an 80-station gym, a new virtual group cycling studio, up-to-date cardiovascular equipment and a dedicated free weights area. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Leicester political reporter Tim Parker spoke to gym users and City Mayor Peter Soulsby at the reopening.
