Leicestershire dog-walking group ‘Safety in Numbers’ is passionate about helping women feel safer and get more active, especially over the winter months. It comes as a recent Sport England survey found that 65% of women and girls say they do not feel safe exercising outdoors after dark. The group was founded by Primary School teacher Katie Hopkinson who tells Summaya how the group has gone from strength-to-strength.
