In the early hours of Monday 6 February, an earthquake struck in Gazientep, Turkey, measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale. Hundreds have lost their lives and the death toll continues to rise. The UK has responded by sending immediate help. ѿý Essex's Sonia Watson spoke to Russell Peagram, born and raised in Southend-on-Sea, who was in Gazientep when the earthquake struck.
