Allotment holders in Guildford are urging the Borough Council to delay moving them from their current site, as part of a plan for a new housing development. The Guildford Allotment Society says the two alternative sites to their current one at Bellfields, will not be ready by the 5th April deadline the local authority's given. But the council disputes this and says the new site Woodside Road is ready and the North Moors site will be ready soon. The toilets pictured have been installed at Woodside Road. We hear from Allotment Holders and James Steel - Guildford Borough Council's lead member for the environment.
