Its been almost two months since earthquakes hit Turkey and Syria on the 6th of February, killing more than 44,000 people and injuring more than 100,000. According to the UN, 1.5 million people in the south of Turkey were left homeless following the earthquakes. Sara Rashid is a mum from Leicester who's travelling to the region to help cook mass meals for over two thousand people affected who are still displaced and homeless, for the last ten days of Ramadan. Sara Rashid will be travelling with volunteers from the charity 'Mercy to Humanity' to a Turkish town called Elbistan. Sara tells Summaya what she's hoping to achieve.
