South Gate in King's Lynn could close to traffic

Chris Goreham

Available for over a year

South Gate in King's Lynn could be closed to traffic as part of a plan to redevelop King's Lynn. The medieval building is seen as the entrance to the town but their are concerns it could be damaged. The plan would bypass the arch completely and potentially reduce congestion. Alison Gifford, chair of the King's Lynn Civic Society, told us what she thought of the scheme.
