National Highways says its working to identify a motorist caught on camera interfering with traffic cones in roadworks on the A12. She's seen moving cones aside and attempting to manoeuvre from a lane of stationery traffic to a flowing lane. She's then forced to reverse when confronted by a worker. National HIghways says it's contacted Essex Police in an effort to identify the driver. It believes the incident happened near the Marks Tey junction after a crash which was being recovered. It adds that moving traffic measures is an offence, a breach of the Highway Code and highly irresponsible.
