Dorset domestic abuse survivor launches beer mat campaign

Steve Harris

Available for over a year

When you next go for a drink, take a closer look at the mat you pop your pint - or otherwise - on. Donna Anne Pace, from Weymouth, is hoping the drinks mats she's designed could, potentially, be lifesaving. She's a domestic abuse survivor and is trying to get the mats into as many venues as possible. But why? On them are common traits of domestic abuse and a code which you can scan with a smartphone that'll take you to online support. Speaking to Steve Harris, Donna said a campaign like this would have helped her when she was going through domestic abuse.
