Junior doctors on strike in Gloucestershire

Steve Kitchen

Available for over a year

A strike by junior doctors in Gloucestershire will affect NHS services until 7am on Saturday 17th June. Cheltenham General Hospital's A&E has been temporarily downgraded to a minor injuries unit during the strike, meaning all emergencies are being seen at Gloucestershire Royal instead. Steve Kitchen talks to Professor Mark Pietroni, the Medical Director at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs both hospitals to find out what's planned for the coming days.
