The Powerhouse Zone is the place for young emerging talent to showcase their work. A lot of which has been created through the Transformations programme, a collaboration between Imagineer Productions and Media Mania that supports young people who aren't in work or employment, to gain new skills. Many of the participants are exhibiting work, performing in the zone or are being employed to crew and run the resonate stage. Expect fantastical sculptures and artwork depicting future worlds, sensory spaces to escape to, and the DJ shed, a booth that doubles up as a portable moving theatre. Enjoy high wire and aerial performances by Circolumbia and Rebel Manifesto Aerial, and dance performances from Elite and GAPA. Audience members are encouraged to enjoy workshops and taster sessions. There's also information available about youth services within the city.
