Dorset community-owned pub set to reopen

Steve Harris

Available for over a year

A Dorset pub is preparing for its reopening this weekend, after being closed for more than three years. The Martyrs Inn in Tolpuddle was purchased by villagers earlier this year, who raised half a million pounds in a month to save it. Nearly 200 shareholders now own the pub. Tolpuddle resident and shareholder Barrie Lovelock has been telling reporter George Sharpe about its renovation.
