Available for over a year
Melton Mowbray is already known as the rural capital of food - but there's plans to make boating a new attraction in the town. The Melton and Oakham Waterways Society have acquired seven rowboats and a trip boat that they hope people will hire to travel the Melton Ring - a water route that circles the town centre. It's hoped it could kickstart a regeneration of the Melton Mowbray, recently voted the worst town to live in the UK. Matt Smith met Glynn Cartwright, the Society's Chairman.
