A-Level results day for students across Leicestershire

Ady Dayman

Available for over a year

Thousands of teenagers across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland are opening up their A-Level, T-Level and BTec results today. The proportion of A or A* grades is 27.2% - down from a peak of 44.8% during the pandemic. Across the UK, 79% of those receiving results gained a place at their first-choice university, UCAS says. T-Level results are also being released, along with many AS-level and BTec Level 3 grades. T-levels were introduced in the 2020 academic year so this is the second year students have collected their results. Leicester College students Hannah Elliott and Kian Chapman open their results with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Leicester reporter Conor O'Grady.
