Would you play chess in a public park?

Available for over a year

Any chess players out there? Do you think it's a game that's lost its appeal with the younger generations? Maybe you play it with your kids or your grandchildren. Or maybe you've tried to and they've no interest! Well, English chess is set to get a funding boost to help foster young talent. The government has announced half a million pounds of funding for the English Chess Federation. Rishi Sunak is also expected to announce plans to expand chess in schools and public parks.
