Available for over a year
The number of Asian hornet sightings so far this year across the UK is at a record high. There've been 22 since the beginning of 2023 - more than double the previous recorded high - with two nests destroyed on Portland and a third sighting in recent days. Worryingly, in previous years the insect has usually become more prevalent in September and October. Mark White, Dorset's Asian Hornet Coordinator, told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Steve Harris what people need to look out for.
