Princess Diana's secret trip to Studland bay

Steve Harris

Available for over a year

Imagine the scene. It's the late 1980s. You're an older gentleman. A naturist. You've popped in for a swim at the nudist bit of Studland beach. And as you return to your friends, you see someone looking like Princess Diana, wearing a very striking leather jacket. And it is Princess Diana, wearing Michael Jackson's leather jacket! That happened back in the 1980s, thanks to Ken Wharfe's love of Dorset. Ken was Princess Diana's Royal Protection Officer for seven years and will be recounting stories like that at the Mowlem Theatre in Swanage later this month. He's been telling ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Steve Harris about his memories of Dorset.
