'It's a once in a lifetime chance to see these artifacts'

Rupal Rajani

Available for over a year

Leicester's Sikh community has had the opportunity to see some special historical religious artifacts dating back more than 300 years. Bringing a vision of the past, the sacred sikh relics such as swords, shields and other weaponry were brought all the way from India by Baba Balbir Singh. They've been touring Leicester's Sikh gurdwaras as well as others around the country to allow people to connect with their history and faith. Historian Gurinder Singh Mann delves deeper into the precious past and has been explaining the artifacts' significance to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Leicester's Major Singh Takhar.
