Sitting Rooms of Culture was setup to encourage people to have a go at creative arts in their living rooms. It led to friendships and people feeling less isolated and evolved into a trading and workshop space in Coventry Market. The group now have a space in Coventry's LTB Showrooms, the former Litten Tree and Intershop building, where creatives from the community exhibit their work. They've been nominated for a ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Make a Difference Award in the Together category. Founded by three women in the city, Mary Courtney, Kirsty Brewerton, and Heather Davidson whose been speaking with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR's Marian McNamee about their nomination.
