Preachers and shoppers in Leek clash over comments

Lee Blakeman

Available for over a year

Street preachers and residents in Leek have clashed over what some say is offensive language. The preachers group say they're simply reading passages from the bible - and are being verbally abused because of it. But some people living in the town think what they're shouting is homophobic, sexist and offensive. The police and council are looking into the claims.
