Sport Today

Available for over a year

NFL star quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a torn Achilles tendon on his New York Jets debut against Buffalo Bills. The NFL's four-time Most Valuable Player, who joined from the Green Bay Packers in the off-season, was injured in the first quarter just four snaps into his Jets debut. Speaking to Sport Today’s Ed Harry, Melissa Jacobs, who is the Managing Editor of The Football Girl, describes the injury to Rodgers as the “single most devastating moment for a franchise in NFL history”.
