From Kent woodland to World Cup Cricket

Available for over a year

Willow planted here could one day be in the hands of top batters in a cricket World Cup. 200 whips have been planted on the Hadlow Estate near Tonbridge as part of an innovative diversification scheme to grow local wood. Mature trees on site have already been felled by Gray Nicolls who make bats for some of the world's legends, past and present. Reporter Jo Burn has been to Hadlow to see where that road to glory begins.
