The pioneering farmers of Kington

Available for over a year

Farmers in Herefordshire are becoming industry pioneers. Whittern Farms, near Kington, is using a mechanical harvester to pick grapes at its vineyard. This is believed to be the first one ever used in the county. It means the harvest can be completed by two farmers in three days - it would have previously taken 20 hand-pickers up to three weeks.
