Leicestershire woman's mission to raise awareness of breast cancer

Ben Jackson on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Leicester

Available for over a year

In February of last year, and at the age of 24, Alice Greaves was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. And instead of, in her own words 'sitting around moping about', she's been on a mission to raise awareness of the cancer and its symptoms. Alice has raised tens of thousands of pounds for charities through charity events and personalised t-shirts. Just 6 weeks ago, Alice had a double mastectomy which successfully removed the cancerous tumours. She's now preparing to have 18 months of chemo. Alice has been talking to Ben Jackson about her treatment, and how it inspired her to start raising money for charity.
