Some of the children saved from the Holocaust by Sir Nicholas Winton tell their story. Originally broadcast in 2015. Sir Nicholas - who lived in Maidenhead - was dubbed the 'British Schindler'. He saved 669 children from the Nazis in World War Two. He was knighted in 2003 and died in Berkshire in 2015 at the age of 106. The film "One Life", starring Anthony Hopkins as Winton, tells the story of Sir Nicholas' life. It will be released in January 2024.
