The Suffolk Punch: The oldest breed of heavy horse

Available for over a year

Back in 1966 there were just 9 Suffolk foals registered. Apparently the horse took on the name Punch because of its short, stocky body According to the Rare Breeds survival Trust, all modern Suffolks are descended from just one horse...Crisp's Horse of Ufford, which was foaled in 1768. The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Anna Hill joined Emily Windsor at The Suffolk Punch Trust near Woodbridge to hear about the work they do.
