It was 2 years ago that Russia invaded Ukraine - triggering the worst conflict in Europe since the Second World War. Data from the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Office shows 414 Ukrainians arrived in the UK having been sponsored by residents of Liverpool since the spring of 2022, from a total of 517 visas issued. These people who fled their homes have become our neighbours, our colleagues, but most importantly our friends. Oksana, her husband & Son Vlad lived in Kyiv. They had jobs, Vlad went to school, they had a life, they had to leave their home the first morning of the war. Nearly 2 years ago they arrived in the UK , Oksana & her Son Vlad have been sharing their story with Tony Snell
