An estimated 2.5 million people in the UK live with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder - also known as ADHD A condition that can make people feel restless, give them trouble concentrating and cause them to act impulsively. Many of those with ADHD take prescription pills to ease the symptoms, but since September 2023, a national medication shortage has meant hundreds of thousands of people have had to go without. Michael Brennan from St Helen’s, was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 34 & discusses choosing not to take medication.
