Penny Lane: just a Street?
Available for over a year
Is Liverpool doing enough to capitalise on it's biggest export - the Beatles? It may sound like a daft question, but when it comes to Penny Lane - one of the most famous roads in the world - some fans and local businesses think the city is missing a trick. Thousands of tourists flock to Penny Lane every year. The banks, fire station and barber immortalised in the 1967 song have closed down, and apart from the road sign - critics argue there's not actually much to see.
