Fighting farm thefts in Berkshire

Available for over a year

Farmers with expensive equipment and machinery, miles from their nearest police station, can be easy targets for thieves. The National Farmers Union say that, nationally, rural crime rose by more than a fifth between 2021 and 2022 - costing an estimated £50m. Thames Valley Police is taking part in a week of action, which it hopes will help protect local rural communities from rural crime. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Alex Meakin has the story.
