Violence between rival gangs in Ipswich is "blighting the reputation of the town". That's what a judge at Ipswich Crown Court said as he jailed two teenagers for murder. Alfie Hammett and Joshua Howell were sentenced to more than 20 years each in jail for killing 18-year-old James Quigley in January 2023. Ipswich Crown Court heard how his killing was in retaliation for the murder of another 18 year old Joe Dix from Norwich a year earlier. Both the Dix and Quigley families have been describing how they have been devastated by gang rivalry on our streets. Zoie O'Brien has this report...
