"We can't flush the toilet when it rains"

Available for over a year

People in Silk Willoughby near Sleaford say they face the prospect of being unable to flush their toilets every time there's a heavy downpour of rain. Residents say the sewers in the village can't cope with the volume of water and one claims "if it came over it would be catastrophic." Anglian Water say that the ongoing rainfall means there's "simply a lot of water with nowhere to go."
