The exotic pets being abandoned in Lincolnshire
Available for over a year
The owners of a refuge for exotic animals in south Lincolnshire say they've seen a 30% increase in the number of abandoned exotic animals it's taken in in the last six months. The Exotic pet refuge in Deeping St James says people have a lack of understanding of what they’re taking on and are under-estimating how long animals like monkeys and reptiles live, how much they cost to keep and the size to which they grow.
