The Essex ferry sailing choppy waters

Available for over a year

The Harwich Foot Ferry has been connecting the north Essex town with Felixstowe and Shotley in Suffolk since 1912. It currently runs between April and October, but rising costs means it may have to reduce the number of crossings it makes. Luke Deal went on-board with owner and skipper Christian Ziemen to find out why. (Photo: Luke Deal/ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½)
