The man who helped Roger Bannister achieve the 'impossible'

Sir Roger Bannister made history when he became the first person to run a mile in under four minutes at Oxford's Iffley Road track on May 6, 1954. Two pacemakers were on the track that day to help ensure Sir Roger's success. One of those pacemakers was Chris Brasher, who went on to co-found the London Marathon. His son, Hugh Brasher, has shared his father's story with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Oxford's Sophie Law on the 70th anniversary of the four-minute mile.
