To mark the programme's 30th anniversary, Time Team is premiering a three-part special on its YouTube channel from Wytch Farm, near Corfe Castle, Dorset. The programme returned in 2022, broadcasting on YouTube, after the television show was cancelled in 2014. The excavation was led by Dr Derek Pitman, Bournemouth University's Head of Archaeology and Anthropology, who grew up not far from the farm. He and his colleagues discovered two Iron Age burials back in 2021 and are returning to shed light on what could be hiding under the soil, and what it might tell us about the history of the region. Derek has been speaking to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Steve Harris.
