The piano player from Budapest to Stratford-upon-Avon

Available for over a year

A singer-songwriter is honouring the memory of her Grandfather with a new album which keeps his music alive. Born in Berlin but raised in Stratford-upon-Avon, Roxanne De Bastion's grandfather, Stephen was a Hungarian musician who was put in a concentration camp during World War Two. He survived, along with his piano which was kept in the family for generations. Roxanne has used that same piano and some of his original work to create something new celebrating his legacy. She’s been speaking to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR's Vic Minett.
