Baby Tommy was born with a rare liver disease and needed an urgent transplant. Mum Lauren has set up a charity, Tommy’s Journey, to promote awareness of Neonatal Hemochromatosis which is believed to be caused by the mother’s antibodies attacking the baby in the womb. Tommy had a liver transplant thanks to a family friend and is now a well, happy toddler. Family photo.
