Thundersley could lose 150-year-old tree

Available for over a year

A 150-year-old tree within the grounds of Thundersley Primary School may have to be felled, after insurers told the school that roots may have caused cracks in a neighbouring property. Head teacher Emma Dawson says pupils are passionate about the environment, and the school hopes to find a solution for everyone. Picture credit: Stuart Woodward/ѿý. LV, who are the insurers for the residential property, have told the ѿý, “we care about sustainability and we recognise that this is a highly emotive issue”, adding that, "we always look for solutions that protect our natural and built environment and are looking into this specific case.”
