Mum admits ending life of terminally ill son

Available for over a year

A mother has admitted giving her terminally ill son a large dose of morphine to stop his suffering and "quietly end his life". That's despite the fact that euthanasia – deliberately ending a person's life – is illegal in England. Anti-assisted dying group Care Not Killing campaigns for improvements to palliative care and argues that laws against euthanasia and assisted suicide should remain in place. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Oxford's Sophie Law has been speaking to Antonya Cooper about her story.
