Drivers being fined despite never using crossing

Available for over a year

Why have some drivers got Dart charge fines, despite not actually using the Dartford Crossing? Ann Marie Kenyon from Bury has had two but says she's never been near it. National Highways said: “In a minority of circumstances, penalty charges are issued in error. Where this happens, the charge will be cancelled as soon as a customer contacts us to let us know they are not the registered keeper of the vehicle." Photo: Getty images
