Millican Dalton the self-styled 'Professor of Adventure' lived in a cave on Castle Crag for 30 years, and he invented light weight adventure tourism over a hundred years ago. This visionary eccentric became who was known for his goatee beard and feathered cap became an unlikely tourist attraction, but behind the carefully curated image was a thoughtful man who'd quit the rat race for the simple life. Andrew Carter joins writer Matt Entwistle, and actor Peter Macqueen, as they visit his cave and marvel at the beautiful location, and the hardships he endured to live a life of freedom on his terms.
