Sport Today

Available for over a year

Football journalist Nicky Bandini says Galatasaray have got one of the best strikers in the world after Victor Osimhen joined the Turkish club on loan from Serie A side Napoli. The 25-year-old had been a target for Premier League side Chelsea and also Saudi club Al-Ahli, but, after a move didn’t materialise before their transfer deadlines, he made the loan move to the Istanbul-based club. Only 12 months ago, the Nigerian striker was one of world football’s hottest properties, having fired Napoli to a first Serie A title in 33 years. So where did it go wrong for Osimhen and what can Galatasaray expect? Football journalist Nicky Bandini spoke to Sport Today’s Ade Adedoyin.
