Lady-Marie was belittled and attacked by her husband, eventually ending up paralysed and in a wheelchair because of him. She never pressed charges despite being separated from her new born baby for months and months, while she recovered from her injuries. Lady-Marie now works for the Milton Keynes based Spinal Injuries Association and is choosing to speak out, as she wants to protect others from suffering a similar fate. And if you have been affected by any of the issues raised in this interview - you can find help and support at bbc.co.uk/actionline.
