Behind the blue plaque on the front of 14 Helena Road in Southsea is a story of engineering ingenuity, wartime heroics, bestselling books and hit movies. They were all created by former Southsea resident, Nevil Shute Norway, who’s almost completely forgotten in the city he called home. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ reporter Bob Diggles has been door knocking in an endeavour to find out more about the famous engineer-turned-author.
