Poison victim left with flesh-eating virus after attack

A doctor who wore a disguise when he injected his mother's partner with poison in a dispute over an inheritance has admitted attempted murder. Thomas Kwan, who lived in Ingleby Barwick, is due to be later this year. His victim - 72 year old Patrick O'Hara was given a poison jab by his then partner's son - who dressed in disguise and posed as a nurse giving a Covid vaccine.
