52. October - Gardening in all weathers

Terry Walton's Plotcast

Available for over a year

Down to earth advice on growing your own fruit and vegetables with allotment gardener Terry Walton, from his plot in the Rhondda Valley. On one of the wettest days Terry and Lynda have ever recorded on, the pumpkins are safely inside before the first frost of the autumn did any damage. Its time to take the excess foliage off the asparagus and clear any weeds away from the base before giving it a good feed of manure. And all the nets and cages need to be taken down and stored safely inside to preserve them for the winter. If you have a question about your own crops e mail: AskTerry@bbc.co.uk and include a picture if it helps. Producer: Lynda Shahwan
