Terry Walton's Plotcast

Available for over a year

Down to earth advice on growing your own fruit and vegetables with allotment gardener Terry Walton, from his plot in the Rhondda Valley. It's time to harvest the celeriac and the leeks are looking good and ready to pick. Now that there's space in the greenhouse it's time to build the staging and create more storage space for plants that need to go inside over the cold months. One of the plants going inside are the chrysanthemums, so it's time to lift them from their bed, prune away most of the foliage and put into pots with fresh compost. Terry will be back with another Plotcast in December, if you have a question about your crops e mail AskTerry@bbc.co.uk Producer: Lynda Shahwan
